She started fighting with Invicta Fighting Championships on July 28, 2012 where she fought against Bethany Marshall where she won with a TKO in the second round. The Black Eye Promotions Breast Cancer Beatdown has Barb “The Little Warrior” Honchak fighting Roxanne “Roxy” Modafferri as the main event, and the event can be seen for only $9.99, which all money collected will benefit breast cancer victims.

St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital: Barb “The Little Warrior” Honchak raises money and awareness for the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. She often visits children in the hospital when she can too.

Barb “The Little Warrior” Honchak is married to her husband, Timm. The couple has been together for fifteen years. Barb “The Little Warrior” Honchak said her husband kept her grounded. Her husband is one of her coaches. The couple lives in St. Louis, Missouri with their two dogs. Barb “The Little Warrior” Honchak has a Master’s Degree in Ecology and Genetics, and she also has a Bachelor’s Degree in molecular biology.
Barb said she was never an athletic person. She trains with a UFC legend and veteran, Steve Berger. Barb’s husband Timm encouraged her to quit her full-time job as a lab manager in St. Louis, Missouri. Barb was terrified of quitting her job, because of the salary and insurance benefits, but she listened to her husband, and went to the career of fighting.

Barb “The Little Warrior” Hanchak started fighting at an older age than most women fighters, but that hasn’t kept her down. She is ranked currently as the number six female Mixed Martial Artist fighter in the world. Barb “The Little Warrior” Hanchak may have started late, but she isn’t wasting any time, and we are sure to see great things from her in the near future.

Barb “The Little Warrior” Hanchak trains several times a week. She likes to go hunting with her husband, and she loves being outdoors. Barb “The Little Warrior” Hanchak looks forward to spring getting here, so she can spend more time outdoors.
