Cain Velasquez is a Mixed Martial Artists, who is currently the UFC Heavyweight Champion. Cain Velasquez is ranked number five as the pound-for-pound UFC fighter. Cain grew up in Yuma, Arizona where he started wrestling while in high school. He won the 5A Arizona Wrestling Championship two years in a row. He went to Iowa Central Community College where he continued his wrestling where he won the NJCAA National Championship. He transferred back to Arizona, where he started wrestling along Ryan Bader, a UFC fighter, which led him to start his Mixed Martial Arts training. He made his Mixed Martial Arts debut in 2006. Cain Velasquez is the current UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Cain Velasquez is committed to his charity involvement. Cain has supported several charity organizations, which include:
The Valley Medical Center Foundation: The Valley Medical Center Foundation is an organization that assists pediatrics who are facing illnesses. The American Kickboxing Academy contacted Cain to tell him about a young teen who was injured in an auto accident that killed two of his friends. The young teen was fighting for his life and trying to regain mobility after the accident. Cain immediately went to the hospital to see the young teen. He gave the teen autographed gloves, t-shirts, action figures, and encouragement. Cain visited several other hospitals that same day to help other children.
Sheriff’s Heroes Run: The Sheriff’s Heroes Run is an organization that benefits The Valley Medical Center Foundation. All money raised go to help children and their families at the medical center. Cain donates his time and money to this organization.
ULTI-MAN 5K Charity Run: The ULTI-Man 5K Charity Run donates to the ONE DROP, Three Square Food Bank, Boys & Girls Club of Nevada, and The Gay and Lesbian Community Center. Cain Velasquez will be running in this 5K for charity along with Chuck Liddell, Matt Hughes, and Forrest Griffin. This is one of the charities that Cain is involved with.
Family
Cain is married to Michelle. Cain and Michelle got engaged after the UFC 110 fight in Australia. The couple was married on May 28, 2011, and had a daughter on May 6, 2009 whose name is Coral Love. Cain stays busy with his family, training, and his charity work. To keep balance in his life, he has to dedicate special days and time with just his wife and daughter, because of his demanding lifestyle.
Anytime a charity needs help they can depend on Cain Velasquez. Cain believes in the helping everyone in need, but he is just one man, so this puts a lot of demand on him and his family, but his wife Michelle understands, and she is always there to support her husband in everything he does.
We can see great things from Cain Velasquez in the near future, as he has a fight scheduled on June 16, 2015 against Fabricio Werdum in Mexico City, Mexico.
