Frank Edgar: Family Guy

Frank James Edgar is a Mixed Martial Artist, who is the former UFC Lightweight Champion, and currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship in the featherweight division. A year ago Frank Edgar was ranked number three in the UFC featherweight division. Frankie started wrestling in high school where he became the New Jersey State Champion three times. Frankie continued to wrestle when he attended the Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and he made it to the nationals each year he competed. Frankie started training in the Mixed Martial Arts with the Rhino Fight Team. He started his UFC career where he fought against Tyson Griffen where he won by a unanimous decision. Frankie “The Answer” Edgar made his UFC Featherweight Debut in 2012.

Frankie “The Answer” Edgar has a few charities that he is involved with, which include:

Annual Celebrity Dodge Barrage: The Annual Celebrity Dodge Barrage raises money for several charity organizations. The Point of Hope and the League Education and Treatment Center. Both of these organizations assists individuals with developmental disabilities in Brooklyn, New York. Frankie “The Answer” Edgar joined in to play dodge ball for the charities to help raise money and awareness.
Heroes & Legends Softball Game: The Heroes & Legends Softball Game is an organization that supports veterans rehabilitate sports programs. Frankie participated in this charity event to raise money for the veterans.

American Red Cross: The American Red Cross is Frankie “The Answer” Edgar’s favorite charity. Frankie is always raising money and donating time to raise money for his favorite charity.

Frankie “The Answer” Edgar is married to Renee, his high school sweetheart. The two knew each other since kindergarten. The couple married ten days after Frankie fought in the UFC Fight Night 13. The couple has three children, two sons, Francesco, who was born in 2009, Santinio born in 2010, and a daughter Valentina who was born in 2014. Frankie’s parents, Frank, and Mary drop everything to watch their son fight. His younger sister, Gina has never missed one of his fights or his wrestling matches. Frankie appreciates the support that he receives from his family. He said without his family he is nothing.

Frankie’s father owns a plumbing business, and wants Frankie to take over the family business when he retires, but Frankie doesn’t see himself as a plumber. Frankie’s family doesn’t see Frankie as the celebrity that he truly is, and treats him just like their other children. Frankie “The Answer” Edgar likes to spend time with his wife, children, and family at the beach just relaxing. He doesn’t go on extravagant vacations. He said he loves New Jersey, and can’t see himself living anywhere else.

Frankie “The Answer” Edgar is a husband, father, son, and a fighter, but the most important things to Frankie is his family.
